*this post is written in EXCLUSIVELY large font because that is how SERIOUS I take health and holistic living.
DISCLAIMER:
Living holistically is about balance. Many health experts forget that balance is NOT just about doing what's "healthy" all the time. Sometimes, doing the unhealthy thing is the healthiest thing you can do. Besides, what is healthy? Nobody really knows. A lot of it's genetics. Everyone is different and so that's why it's really important to listen to your body. I listen DEEEEEEPLY, and after years of listening, my gut (health) has told me that my body requires 12-18 ounces of Diet Coke daily (those ounces should never be consumed after 2pm Mountain Standard Time). I've also learned that my mental health is better if I have a lil' handful of peanut M&Ms after lunch and then another slightly larger handful right after dinner. But I don't get too carried away with it because my sleep health is important, and after years of struggling with sleep, I discovered that 10mg of melatonin and 62mg of Ashwagandha help me fall asleep and stay asleep. I'll throw in magnesium glycinate every once in a while on top if I've done an XTREME workout that day.
This is what works for me and the Whole Don.Earth Catalog is designed to provide access and knowledge to people looking to improve their overall well-being.

Ashwagandha
What is Ashwagandha? It helps the body balance cortisol levels—it's like closing tabs in a browser, but for your brain. Take 62 mg of ashwagandha with melatonin each night.
Mary Routh's Daily Men's Vitamins
All the vitamins (A, B6, B12, C, D, E, all of it!) you need in 2 gummies a day.
N-Acetyl Cystein (NAC)
NAC... what does it do? Nobody knows! But I read about it on some deeeeeep internet rabbit hole and some thread said NAC could make my brain work better! I'll report back, but at 750 mg a day so far, I guess you could say I'm feeling pretty holistic!
Diet Coke
Some of the most successful people on the planet swear by Diet Coke. Warren Buffet drinks 5 cans a day. Karl Lagerfeld drank 10 cans a day. Me, Don? I drink 12-18 ounces a day (1-1.5 cans per day) – rookie numbers no doubt, but health is a journey, not a destination. It's important to not compare yourself to others as you work to achieve balance.
M&Ms
If you're gonna get serious about your health, you have to commit. That's why I go STRAIGHT WHOLESALE babaaay(!) and get the 62 ounce shipping container of peanut M&Ms. Give yourself a treat everyday after lunch and watch your performance improve!
Melatonin
Helps you fall asleep – 10 mg a night.
Kirkland Signature White Athletic SocksThe perfect thiiiiiiiiick, chunky tube sock that your dad and grandfather may have worn. [ADVANCED MANEUVER: the ribbing would look very good with loafers and light denim if you want to try it.]
Kirkland Signature Trail Mix
A couple handfuls of this mix can serve as a substitute for missing a meal. There is no great combination than Kirkland Signature Trail Mix and a Diet Coke.
Vicks VAPOInHaler
We are a biiiiiiiig P&G household. Love the entire portfolio family of globally recognized, truly ICONIC brands – Gillette (the best a man can get! one of the best taglines in history!), the Tide pen (right up there with the iPod in terms of innovation), Old Spice, Oral-B... I could go on and on, but what I want to call out here is MY NEWEST CHEAT CODE, The Vicks VAPOInHaler. Buckle up. This shit hits you – slightly medicinal, oddly comforting. In a moment, Vicks takes you somewhere else... a place where you are both accutely alert, but calm at the same time. "It’s the scent of immediate relief, wrapped in an unmistakable “ahhh” feeling."
Barry's Gym
The Barry's water bottle really represents the gym. Go to the gym. Out of all the things, going to the gym, sweating is probably the single most important thing to this entire equation. You gotta sweat out the Diet Coke.
