Just start writing. Do a page a day. None of it will be any good. But the practice of writing is like zen. It's a process. It helps with balance. I always seem to come back to writing when things aren't working. Or when it feels like things aren't connecting. Writing reinforces patience. It reminds me that all things are connected – that all things are exactly where they need to be in this moment – the past, present, and future... all connected. Write to synthesize it. To connect yourself to it. There are answers in writing. Not in the words, but in the act. The act of writing is it. That's the thing.
